For more than 10 years, my R&D activity evolves around Computational MorphoGenesis, i.e. the generation of structural forms via automated form-finding techniques, based on optimization algorithms and numerical computations.
The burst in computational efficiency, during the last years, together with the development of industrial software on topological structural optimization, has provided designers and engineers of different disciplines with new capabilities on design exploration.
